    Ijinkan (approx. 1.5 hours)
After Japan ended its isolation policy in the late Edo period, many foreigners came to live in Kobe. The Kitano Ijinkan District is a preserved area where these foreign residences have been brought back to life.
Many of these Western-style houses are open to the public, allowing visitors to experience the cultural diversity and historical atmosphere of the time.
You’ll also find trick art museums and restaurants offering cuisine from across Asia (India, China, etc.) and Europe (France, Italy, Switzerland, etc.).
